Kanha National Park


Kanha national park - Kanha National Park, is one of the tiger reserves of India and the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh, state in the heart of India, it the largest National Park in Central India. The park has a significant population of Bengal tiger, Indian leopards, the sloth bear, barasingha and Indian wild dog. Kanha National Park is well connected from the major destinations of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra & Chhattisgarh. By road - Nagpur : 300 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs Drive

By road - Pench : 200 kms/ 04 Hrs drive

By air - The Nearest Airport for Kanha National Park are Jabalpur 160 Kms, Raipur 250 Kms & Nagpur 300 Kms.

By train - The Nearest Railway Stations for accessing Kanha National Park is Gondia & Jabalpur. Gondia railway station is 145kms / 03:00 hrs drive from Kanha (Khatia Entrance Gate). Jabalpur railway station is 160kms / 04:00 hrs drive from Kanha (Mukki Entrance Gate)


Pench National Park

Pench National Park is in Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. it was established as a tiger reserve. The park is famous for rafting. Commonly seen wildlife is chital, sambar, nilgai, wild pig, and jackal. Also Indian leopard, sloth bear, indian wolf, wild dog, porcupine, monkey, jungle cat, fox, striped hyena, gaur, four-horned antelope and barking deer live in the park.

The best time to visit the park is between November and May. The park is open to visitors between 6 am and 10:30 am and between 3 pm and 6 pm. The park remains closed during July, August and September.

The park can be accessed by road and railway. The nearest airport, railway station is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur and closest city is Seoni, bus can be taken to the park. Turiya is the nearest highway stop near Pench. Open jeep safaris are allowed from each of the gates twice in a day.


Tadoba National Park


Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is a tiger reserve in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state in central India. It is notable as Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park.

Aside from the keystone species, the Bengal tiger, Tadoba Tiger Reserve is home to other mammals, including: Indian leopards, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena, small Indian civet, jungle cats, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, chital, chausingha and honey badger. Tadoba lake sustains the marsh crocodile, which were once common all over Maharashtra.

Reptiles here include the endangered Indian python and the common Indian monitor. Terrapins, Indian star tortoise, Indian cobra and Russel's viper also live in Tadoba.

The lake is an ornithologist's paradise with a wide diversity of water birds, and raptors. 195 species of birds have been recorded, including three endangered species. The grey-headed fish eagle, the crested serpent eagle, and the changeable hawk-eagle are some of the raptors.

The nearest International Airport is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur (140 km via Umrer, Bhisi and Chimur).

The nearest railway station is Chandrapur (on the Delhi-Chennai main line) 45 km away.

Khindsi Lake, Ramtek, Nagpur


Khindsi Lake is a lake near the city of Ramtek in the Nagpur district of India. Boating, watersports, restaurant and resort is operated by Rajkamal Tourism and Olive Resorts at Khindsi lake. It is Central India's largest boating center and amusement park with many tourists visiting every year.
